I live in a suburb of Austin with my husband and three children. I'm a stay-at-home-mom and my husband/very best friend, Karlon, is a software engineer who began telecommuting about eight years ago. We spend practically every waking (and sleeping, for that matter) moment together unless one of us is running the kids to or from school or some other activity. It makes for an interesting lifestyle and I'm sure I'll be writing about it a lot here. Our three kids, Brandon (10), Ashley (8) and Jonathan (7) never cease to amaze me. We also have a Golden Retriever named Stetson who grew to be a shocking 98lbs. and has a heart of gold. As of December 2010, we are also proud owners of a very impressive little box turtle named Steve.
